5.2 Re-Schedule of Town Council Meeting

Due to the fact that a Maldon District Council, Central Area Planning Meeting is to be held on Wednesday, 23rd April, 2003 it is recommended that the Town Council meeting due to take place on that date be re-scheduled to Tuesday, 22nd April, 2003.
  6. ANNUAL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

As a result of the Annual Town Council meeting held on 13th May, 2002 some members expressed the view that these meetings should be held in the Council Chamber, Moot Hall. Members are therefore requested to consider where the Annual Town Council meeting on 12th May, 2003 should be held.
  7. ANNUAL REPORT

To receive and consider a copy of the draft Annual Report. It is very much hoped that the report can be printed and circulated at the Annual Town Meeting. In view of the fact that Maldon Printing Company have recently submitted a very competitive quotation for the Maldon in Bloom leaflet and they produced last year's Annual Report, which won an award, it is recommended that they be approached for a quotation. In view of the time scale it is suggested that the Town Clerk in consultation with the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Finance and General Purposes Committee be authorised to approve the quotation for the printing of the Annual Town Report.

Members will recall that it had previously been agreed that a tree should be planted in the paving area at West Square.
