Tree Warden Report
Inspected 23rd April 2002
This is a substantial tree and is an important part of the treescape in Wellington Road and therefore this application is a difficult one to resolve. The tree does not appear to be doing any damage to the adjacent fence, but does overhang the neighbouring property. If the Tree Officer agrees the tree has outgrown its present site then my recommendation is as follows:
Recommended: no objection to the removal of the existing tree but its replacement should be of a semi mature type and sited so that it can replace the existing tree in the overall treescape.

RESOLVED: that the Town Council objects to this application as members felt the tree should be crown reduced at an appropriate time of the year.
