To receive a copy letter sent to the Area Highways Manager, Essex County Council from the Treasurer of the Maldon Chamber of Trade & Commerce regarding the temporary road closure High Street, Maldon.

DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT: Demolition of existing buildings and construction of 9 dwellings.

Further to minute 236.a.5 of the Planning Committee meeting held on 29th March 2004, information has been received from the Chief Planning and Development Services Officer, Maldon District Council that the above mentioned appeal has been received by the Planning Inspectorate in respect of the above site against the decision of the District Council to refuse planning permission. Members will recall that the Town Council objected to this application.

APPEAL BY MR & MRS HICKS
SITE AT 6 DOWNS ROAD, MALDON

Further to minute 138.b.5 of the Planning Committee meeting held on 24th November 2003, information has been received from the Planning Inspectorate that the above appeal has been dismissed. Members will recall that the Town Council objected to this application.
