|| REQUEST FOR YELLOW LINES, SPITAL ROAD
To receive the following letter from Mr E Drury regarding a request for yellow lines in Spital Road.
Could you please consider having yellow lines on Spital Road at the junction of St Peters Avenue. The cars park opposite this junction form 8.00am until 5pm six days a week and it makes it very dangerous for pedestrians, in my case I am a double amputee and in a wheel chair. At the junction if I need to turn right to go towards the town the pavement is so narrow on that corner that I sometimes drop my wheelchair into the road and with traffic constantly on the wrong side of the road, I am really frightened that one of these days I will be hit.
Please can you help me.
