Working Party Notes
To receive and consider the Notes of the Cinema Working Party meeting held on 7th September, 2004
|| Film Club
Further to Note 5 of the Working Party meeting held on 7th September, 2004, members will have received letters informing them that a meeting has been arranged for Wednesday 20th October, 2004 at 8.00 p.m. in the Tudor Room, Swan Hotel at which Mr. Hewett, Chelmsford Film Club, will be attending. As a result of press releases a number of members of the public have expressed an interest in attending the meeting.

Further to minute 33.1 of the Finance and General Purposes Committee meeting held on 6th September, 2004 report will be available at the meeting.
|| Farleigh at St. Clare's Hospice
Further to minute 33.4 of the Finance & General Purposes Committee held on 6th September, 2004 members to note that a thank you letter has been received from Richard Fewings, Fundraiser, Farleigh at St Clare's Hospice, thanking the Town Council for free use of the Town Hall for their "Auction of Promises" on Friday 12th November, 2004.
|| RAISING AWARENESS OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
Further to minute 37 of the Finance & General Purposes Committee meeting held on 6th September, 2004:
(i) Maldon Badge - sample will be available at the meeting;
(ii) Blue plaques - cost approximately £450 - £500, depending on the number ordered.
|| IDENTIFICATION CARDS/TAGS
Further to minute 36 of the Finance & General Purposes Committee meeting held on 6th October, 2004 information has been obtained regarding the production of identification cards and if members wish to have cards, similar to those used by the District Council containing photographs these would cost in the region of £200. In this respect members are requested to consider whether they wish to have cards, with or without photographs, or name badges.

|| THE COUNTRYSIDE AGENCY - PROSPECTUS: QUALITY PARISHES INVESTMENT FUND
To receive and consider the attached prospectus issued by the Countryside Agency. The Essex Association of Local Councils have requested copies of responses forwarded to the Countryside Agency.

To receive and consider the minutes of the Maeldune Trust meeting held on Monday 23rd August, 2004
|| STAFFING MATTERS - APPRAISAL TOWN CLERK
Further to minute 39.2 of the Finance & General Purposes Committee held on 6th September, 2004 the report on the staff appraisal of the Town Clerk will be available at the next Finance & General Purposes Committee meeting.
