a. To receive and consider the Minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 18th April, 2006.
b. Further to minute 226.b.6 of the above minutes, members are informed that subsequently a letter of objection has been received regarding this application, a copy of which has also been sent to the District Council.

|| BRADWELL WINDFARM
a. Planning Application
Construct Wind Farm comprising of 10 turbines of maximum 121m to blade tip height, sub station building, anemometer mast and ancillary infrastructure
Land at Hockely Farm Proposed Wind Farm Hockley Lane,
Bradwell on Sea, Southminster
To receive and consider the above application which has been received from Maldon District Council for determination in accordance with the relevant planning legislation and requesting that any views that our Council wish to express should be made in writing. These will be taken into account when the application is decided, as long as they relate to planning issues.
b. BATTLE (Bradwell and Tillingham Tackling Lost Environment)
To receive and consider a letter from BATTLE regarding the proposed Wind Farm at Bradwell on Sea.

Notification has been received from John Edwards Associates regarding the submission of an application for Listed Building Consent to Maldon District Council which enclosed the required notice under section 65 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 which stated:
I am given to understand that Solicitors for Silks Racing Limited will be writing to you, in the near future, regarding an agreement to install the satellite on the Council's property.

APPLICATION REFERENCE NO.: APP/X1545/A/05/1189889
DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT: Non compliance with condition 2 attached to planning permission FUL/MAL/95/0200 relating to the nature of goods to be sold.
Notification has been received regarding an appeal received by the Planning Inspectorate against the decision of the District Council to refuse planning permission for the above development. However the appellant has withdrawn the appeal, therefore a hearing will no longer be arranged and the Planning Inspectorate has closed the file. Should the appellant decide to submit a new application in future it would be publicised in the normal way and the opportunity provided at that stage for representations to be made on the new application.

Details relating to: Brick sample and panel showing brink bond and pointing
"Notification has been received from Head of Development Control, ECC stating that the following has been approved:
I hereby approve the brick sample (second hand "Essex Orange" bricks, brick bond (Flemish Bond) and pointing as on the panel of the submission dated 8th March, 2006.
For your information it was commented that the vertical joints on the panel were a little too wide, and should be noticeably narrower than the horizontal joints.
