LICENSING

b) To receive the report by the Clerk and consider which form of Licence would be most suitable for the Town Hall and prepare a recommendation for approval by Council

 7.2 WATER HEATER FOR THE FIRST FLOOR KITCHEN

Quotations for installation has been requested and the information will be available at the meeting
 7.3 COMMEMORATIVE BOARD LISTING PAST MAYORS

Members are invite to consider the suggestion of Cllr Smith that a new Board should be supplied for Town Hall to carry on the tradition of the Boards on display in the Moot Hall which list the terms of office of past Mayors

NON DOMESTIC RATE RELIEF

The Local Taxation Officer has advised the Council that it does not qualify for relief as the various hereditaments exceed the 15,000 threshold
 8.2 GRANT FUNDING

a) Members are invited to note the letter sent to the Essex Environment Trust by the Council and the reply received, and to agree that a further letter can be sent confirming that the building is available for public access for the equivalent of 2 days per week.

b) To consider the suggestion for a permanent notice-board giving information on the Saturday tours and the availability of other tours by appointment with the Town Council office
 8.3 FLAGS

Members are invited to consider the replacement of the Union Flag which is in very poor condition. A supplier has quoted the following costs:

85.50 for a woven flag;
54.30 for a printed flag

Further to Minute 183 of the Town Council meeting on 4 April 2005, Members are invited to review the section of the Policy Statement & Objectives relating to Finance

 14. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

In accordance with s.1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to resolve that in view of the confidential nature of the business to be discussed it is in the opinion of the Committee advisable in the public interest that the public and press be temporarily excluded and they be instructed to withdraw.
