To receive a presentation from the Wentworth School which is seeking in principle support from the Town Council for its application to the ECC Community Initiatives Fund for a grant towards the refurbishment and improvement of its swimming pool.

|| MAELDUNE HERITAGE CENTRE
At the request of Cllr. Keighley, to consider the following resolution:
That this Council, mindful of the decision taken at its meeting on 25 July 2005 (Min 57), and the decision of the Finance & General Purposes Committee taken at its meeting on 10 October 2005 (Min 53)
AGREES in principle to Maldon District Council's proposal to re-locate the Tourist Information Centre in the Maeldune Centre subject to the negotiation of suitable terms and conditions.

|| THE VICTORIA COUNTY HISTORY OF ESSEX APPEAL FUND
An invitation has been received from The Victoria County History of Essex Appeal Fund regarding their Annual General Meeting to be Held on Wednesday, 23rd November, 2005 at the Essex Record Office, Chelmsford commencing at 7.30 p.m. The meeting will include a talk by Phillip Crummy, director and chief archaeologist of the Colchester Archaeological Trust, on the Trust's exciting work in excavating the Colchester chariot racing track - the only Roman circus in Britain. Members are requested to consider if a representative of the Town Council should attend this meeting.
