a. To receive and consider a financial report regarding budget for the Environment Committee.

a. Members are informed that a letter has been received from the tenant of plot 30a requesting permission to relocate his shed from plot 46a to plot 30a.
b. Members are informed that a letter has been received from the tenant of plot 13b requesting permission to install a shed on their plot.

To receive and consider a letter from WAIT regarding proposed improvements to the site.
Further to minute 54.4 of the Environment Committee meeting held on 29th January, 2007, to consider whether bonfires should be permitted on allotments sites in Maldon.
To consider items for the tenants newsletter to be circulated in the Spring.

To receive and consider the Notes of the Maldon in Bloom Working Party meeting held on 28th February, 2007.
|| ST. MARY'S CHURCHYARD WALL
Further to minute 55.2 of the Environment Committee meeting held on 29th January, 2007 to note that the Town Council's solicitors are pursing our concerns regarding the damage to the St. Mary's Churchyard wall caused by the erection of a telegraph pole on Church Street.
|| CROMWELL PUMP
To receive and consider a quotation from Bakers of Danbury to install the information plaque at the Cromwell Pump. Members to note that grant funding may be available from the District Council to assist with the plaque's installation.

To receive a guidance note from Essex County Council regarding the Community Initiative Fund 2007-2008 and to consider potential projects.

| LEECH MEMORIAL GARDEN
Members are informed that the dog bin situated at the far end of Leech Memorial Garden has been damaged and in need of repair and members are requested to consider the quotations for the replacement of the bin.

|| Tree Work
It has been reported that it may be necessary to undertake pollarding to the Willow trees growing within the garden as, due to their size, they are suffering from wind damage and concern has been expressed that they could become seriously damaged. The advice of the Tree Officer, Maldon District Council is being sought.
|| Notice Boards
The Friends of Leech Memorial Garden have been approached to ascertain the wording which they would wish to appear on an information board to be installed at the garden. Once this information has been received, quotations will be sought for the new information board.
|| INSPECTION OF COUNCIL SERVICES - 21ST MAY 2007
To receive and consider a letter from the Chief Community Services Manager, Maldon District Council regarding an Inspection of Services by the Audit Commission.
