REQUESTED REMOVAL OF HIGHWAY RIGHTS
SECTION 247 TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
To receive and consider a letter form the Area Highway Manager, Essex County Council regarding a request to remove highway rights from land adjacent to 12 Viking Road.
To note that information has been received from Highways, Essex County Council that they have received objections from other consultees and the applicant has been informed that permission will not be granted.

  7. APPLICATION FOR ROAD CLOSURE FOR MALDON VICTORIAN EVENINGS

To receive and consider from Logistics, Maldon Victorian Evenings 2006, Maldon Chamber of Trade & Commerce the following letter:

I am writing to advise you that an application for a temporary road closure will be made to Maldon District Council for our Victorian Evenings on the above dates. The closure will be the High Street, from West Square (Maldon Police Station) to Victoria Road. Access for emergency services will, of course, be maintained.

I trust that you have no objections, and if you require any information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

To note that a letter has also been received from Licensing, Maldon District Council stating that the road will be closed from 18.00 to 22.00, appropriate signs will be in place and marshals on hand to control the road closure and ensure the safety of visitors.
