To approve and sign the Moot Hall lease subject to the recommendations of the Finance and General Purposes Committee meeting held on 9th March 2010.

 12. MODEL STANDING ORDERS

To receive the revised model Standing Orders for Local Councils prepared by NALC. The revised model orders are significantly different to the ones in use at present and Council may wish to consider holding a separate meeting of the Council for this one item, or to set up a working party to prepare recommendations for Council

 13. MEETINGS WITH MALDON DISTRICT COUNCIL

The Chief Executive of Maldon District Council has proposed a series of regular meetings, twice a year, between the District Council and the Town Council. These would be informal meetings to give officers and members the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual concern. The proposed schedule is:

28 April 2010         26 April 2011         24 April 2012
26 October 2010    25 October 2011    23 October 2012
All meetings except the first one are on Tuesdays, to be held from 11am -12.30pm
To approve the schedule of meetings, and agree who should attend the first meeting.
