 5.2 Warwick Crescent

a. Rear Ditch
Further to minute 99.3.a., to receive an update from Cllr. Savage after his meeting with Moat Housing.
 5.3 Brickhouse Farm

a. Fencing
Picket fencing is being installed around the Buddies Children's Centre's plot. The contractor has been contacted regarding the installation of new footpaths.

b. Chickens
A request has been received from the tenants of Plot 3 requesting permission to install a chicken Coop/run designed for 4 chickens on their plot.

c. Erection of Sheds
A request has been received from Buddies Children's Centre (Plot 5) and Mr Fielder (Plot 26) requesting permission to erect sheds on their plot.
 5.4 Maldon Hall

a. Boundary Hedge
Straw which had been deposited alongside the boundary fence has been removed by staff and, to date, no further straw has been found.
 5.5 Allotment Rules and Tenancy Agreements

Permission is awaited from the District Council for the work to the Holm Oak to be undertaken.

 10.2 Cleaning Specification

To receive and consider a letter from the Conservation Officer, Maldon District Council.

 11. WARE POND To consider verbal reports.
 12. CROMWELL PUMP

To note that a letter has been received from the Party Walls Surveyor which confirmed that the contractor used the lime mortar mix for the repair work to the existing brickwork and that a further application of weed killer was also applied to the entire ground area of the enclosure. The MDC Conservation Officer had inspected the completed works to the pump structure and was satisfied with the completed works.
 13. BUS SHELTERS - To consider verbal reports
 14. SALT BINS

Essex County Council has been contacted to request a meeting to consider the suggested locations for salt bins within the town. No date has yet been confirmed.
 15. ST. GILES RUINS

To consider a report from the Arboricultural Consultant on the condition of trees within the grounds. Following receipt of the report, with the approval of the Chairman of the Committee and the Town Clerk, a Picus Test has been undertaken on the Holm Oak which was found to have problems. The report also indicated that the Poplar tree is unsafe and should be felled. Quotations for this work will be sought.

 16. LEECH MEMORIAL GARDEN - To consider verbal reports.
 17. MARKET HILL GARDEN - To consider verbal reports.
 18. GROUNDS MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

A final review of all sites within the town was undertaken with the former Grounds Maintenance Contractor and Mrs Good. A few snags were identified and these were rectified before the conclusion of the contract.

The new contract commences on 1st April and a site visit has been made with the new contractor.
 19. QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE

To consider whether the Town Council wishes to undertake a project to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June 2012. To note that the project for the Queen's Golden Jubilee was to re-design St. Peter's Churchyard.
