Brickhouse Farm Allotment Site
a. Site Extension
To note that work to extend the site is due to commence in the near future.
||b.Shed - Plot 15
A letter has been received from the tenant of plot 15 requesting permission to install a shed 2m long x 1 ½ m wide by 2m high.

a Urban Foxes
At the request of Cllr. Knight, to consider investigating the concerns of tenants and residents of King Street regarding problems which are arising from Urban foxes on the allotment site.
(i) To receive information regarding Urban foxes.

To receive verbal reports regarding matters at the garden.

| CLOSED CHURCHYARDS
St. Peter's Churchyard
Members are informed that the central beds have been planted with bedding plants. This planting is being monitored as several of the plants within the beds have needed to be replaced by the contractor due to the recent weather conditions.
|| St. Mary's Churchyard
To receive and consider quotations for a litter bin to be installed by the gateway to St. Mary's Lane.
a. Street master Cardiff bin, weight - 63kg - £369.20 plus £59.00 delivery.
(This is the same type of heavy duty bin which was installed at St. Peter's Churchyard)
b. Wybone Barnsley bin - weight 53kg - £205.00 plus 26.92 delivery.

The area adjacent to Church Walk is being worked on and the Borage and nettles are being cleared from the site.
| AMENITY AREAS
a. Car Parking
Investigations are being undertaken to ascertain the ownership of the offending vehicle.
||b. Replacement Signage
Members are informed that a quotation has been received to replace and install the sign which stated, "No vehicular Parking on the Green" in the sum of £350.00 plus VAT. Members are requested whether to consider to replace the sign or look at alternative options such as installing shrub beds on the edge of the driveway or installing a deterrent such as bollards. It is suggested that members may wish to visit the site before attending the meeting.
|| Norfolk Road
A complaint has been received from the resident of 35 Norfolk Close regarding the overgrown condition of the area of land adjacent to her garden which the Town Council maintains. The area is visited annually for the trees and shrubs to be trimmed as part of the Grounds Maintenance Contract. The area has been planted with shrubs, which although being maintained, have grown and now obstruct the sightlines for people entering their driveways. An appointment has been made with the contractor to discuss this matter.

To receive and consider verbal reports regarding matters at the Ruins.
| POETS ESTATE
Bus Shelter - Masefield Road
Further to minute 14.2 of the Environment Committee meeting held on 8th June, 2009, members are informed that grant funding in the sum of £3,280.00 for the installation of a bus shelter in Masefield Road has been received. Before the shelter is ordered, enquiries are being made to ascertain if there are plans to install a raised kerb at this site.
|| WARE POND
Further to minute 15.1 of the Environment Committee meeting held on 8th June, 2008 members are informed that the blanket weed has now been removed from the pond. The pond is to be planted with aquatic plants such as water lilies in the near future.
| GROUNDS MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
To receive the reports regarding monitoring of the contract.
To receive and consider a draft specification for the merged Grounds Maintenance and Floral Decorations Contract for 1st April, 2010 to 31st March 2013. To note that proposed changes have been made to improve the contract; these are detailed in red. The boxes highlighted in yellow indicate that further information is to be obtained. Once members have approved the specification, quotations will be sought for the new contract.
